Justin will be performing with the world-renown Chicago Jazz Orchestra as a part of the 2017 Chicago Jazz Festival. The concert will be held at Jay Pritzker Pavillion (Millennium park), and the band will be featuring legendary trumpeter John Faddis to pay tribute to the indefatigable Dizzy Gillespie! 

Justin Copeland will be featured with the Liberation Music Collective for the CD release show at the Jazz Record Art Collective! Show begins at 8:30pm.

Snapshot is back! the band never really left, but I know its been a while since you could find the name here on my page. We just recently recorded our second album back in the Spring and it is nearing completion! Hope you can join us for a great night of new music at this wonderful new jazz series near the South Loop.

I am incredibly excited to announce that I'll be performing with legendary bassist Larry Gray for an intimate evening of great music at the Iron Post. Not much more needs to said about this one! Come out if you can!

I have the pleasure of playing in the trumpet section of the CJO at the upcoming 2016 Summer Solstice Jazz Festival in Lansing, MI. We will be presenting out Sinatra at 100 performance with vocalist Paul Marinaro. If you're in the area, hope you to see you there!
